Connecticut Public Broadcasting’s radio station WNPR has been voted “Best Radio Station” in the Best of Hartford Reader’s Poll. WNPR was chosen as the top station with WTIC 96.5 as runner up and WMRQ 104.1 not far behind.
We are excited to receive such an honor directly from the community we serve. It has been our mission at Connecticut Public Broadcasting to give Connecticut a voice. We’re thrilled that the audience in our region views us as the best station in which to engage.
“We’re always excited when we get a community award. We get awards from our peers, but when we get an honor from the public it means more, ” said John Dankosky, News Director at WNPR. “People have a lot of choice, and when we know people are listening it makes our day.”
