Governor Lamont is recovering from hip replacement surgery. The previously-scheduled procedure was carried out at the Stamford affiliate of the Hospital for Special Surgery. The Connecticut Mirror reports that governor has been considering the surgery since before taking office in January 2019. Lamont, who turned 67 this month, was recovering at his home in Greenwich Wednesday evening.
