The Connecticut Public is pleased to announce Carol Sisco has been named Vice President and Executive Director of Television Programming and Acquisitions. She will serve as station manager for CPBN’s three television networks – CPTV, CPTV 4U, and CPTV Sports — and will be responsible for the development and implementation of programming and promotion strategies to create successful program schedules for the three networks and ensure high ratings, audience loyalty and increased revenue. Sisco will represent programming and acquisition interests across the company as well as with national programming affiliates and partners.
Sisco has over 15 years of experience in public and employee relations, advertising, marketing communications, producing and multimedia. Since 2012, she has overseen promotion and programming activities for CPTV and its affiliate stations as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Human Resources. Previously, she was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in 2004 and also held the position of Vice President of Corporate Communications from 2001 to 2004.
Sisco has held a variety of positions at corporations throughout Connecticut including Director of Public Relations at Bristol Hospital, Public Relations Manager at LIMRA International and Associate News Producer/Special Projects Producer at WVIT-TV30. She is also an adjunct professor in communications at the University of Connecticut. Carol received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, and she earned a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Communications from Emerson College. She also received a Master of Education degree with a specialization in educational computing and technology from the University of Hartford. She has been named to Who’s Who in American College Students and is a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society.
