Chef Plum’s Apple Bourbon Ginger Snap Cocktail

Imagine it now. . .it’s Friday or Saturday night, there’s a chill in the air, you’re sitting around a backyard fire pit. You need a fall cocktail, right? I make this simple cocktail with pear juice or apple cider all fall long.

Chef Plum's Apple Bourbon Ginger Snap Cocktail

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz good apple cider preferably from your local farm
  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz ginger simple syrup, (Steep fresh ginger in simple syrup for 2 min)

Instructions
 

  • Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker (or mason jar) with ice, and shake. Serve on the rocks and garnish with an apple slice.

Chef Plum is the host of Seasoned, along with Marysol Castro. He is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and has over 25 years of culinary experience. He has been a private chef and caterer for more than a decade.
