URISE’s 4th Annual Youth Business Summit

URISE Ventures, in collaboration with our esteemed sponsors, West Indian Foundation and The Prosperity Foundation, is proud to host a #SharkTank pitch-style competition for our community鈥檚 aspiring young entrepreneurs.
During the event, youth, teens, and young adults will present their business ideas to a panel of local judges, competing for cash prizes. The competition aims to foster entrepreneurship and empower the next generation of business leaders in our community.
In addition to the pitch competition, the event will feature a pop-up marketplace showcasing products and services made and sold by young entrepreneurs. This platform will allow these talented individuals to gain exposure and connect with the local community.
Cash prizes ranging from a minimum of $50 to a maximum of $500 will be awarded to the top three presenters in each category. Furthermore, all students selected to participate will earn start-up cash, providing them with the necessary resources to kick-start their entrepreneurial journey.
URISE has a rich history of educating and empowering underserved youth, teens, and young adults in the Greater Hartford area for over 20 years. We have consistently positioned them for success in careers related to business, technology, or entrepreneurship.
