University of Notre Dame Hesburgh Lecture: Trouble Waters: Challenges in the 21st Century Water Law and Policy

Background: The Hesburgh Lecture Series brings the University of Notre Dame campus to its alumni and friends through the Notre Dame clubs across the country by promoting intellectual dialogue with distinguished Notre Dame faculty. Hesburgh Lectures are intended to showcase the depth and breadth of Notre Dame’s academic expertise and teaching. To accomplish this goal, the Alumni Association seeks as Hesburgh Lecturers faculty who are outstanding researchers, excellent teachers and able to communicate specialized knowledge and scholarly perspectives to a diverse adult audience. It selects lecturers and topics that reflect the values of Notre Dame and can foster constructive and fruitful dialogue among members of the Notre Dame family.

This year’s event in CT is being sponsored by the ND Alumni Clubs of Hartford, New Haven and Southeastern CT in partnership with Notre Dame High School of West Haven. Our guest speaker is Bruce Huber from Notre Dame’s Law School. He teaches in areas of environmental law, natural resources law, property and energy law. His topic will focus on water law and policy, given the challenges the U.S. faces in this century. Please refer to the flyer attached.
