The Upcycled Planter Challenge 2023

Come to Connecticut’s first town settlement to view the 2023 Upcycled Planter Challenge. The planters created by local gardeners, artists, artisans and crafters are up for auction, proceeds will fund the upgrade of the second town Monarch Habitat at Riverwalk, a conserved public area featuring a biking, walking, jogging trail that runs alongside the Farmington river. 44 planters are displayed around the town center on Broad street as well as the popular “chairy orchard” featuring chair planters on the town green.
