April 6 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT
What does it take to lead, and lead well? Handel’s oratorio Joseph tells the story of a famous leader’s rise to power and fame, marriage, family betrayal, and search for identity, all wrapped into one. Written in the 1740s in England, the work became incredibly popular during Handel’s lifetime. This performance will be the first in Connecticut – bringing together the Farmington Valley Chorale, The Univ. of CT Collegium Musicum, professional orchestra and soloists, in the beautiful St. Patrick/ St. Anthony Church in Hartford. This is an event not-to-be-missed!
