In May 2024, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will depart from the four points of the compass in continental America – north, south, east and west – processing the Blessed Sacrament to Indianapolis for a National Eucharistic Congress in mid-July. The eastern pilgrimage route of will originate at the tomb of Blessed Michael McGivney in New Haven. This lecture series anticipates those events.
In the second installment, Father John Anthony Boughton CFR, General Servant of the Community of Friars of the Renewal, will share his experiences from military veteran and a convert to Catholicism to the priesthood and foreign missionary. The Eucharist has been at the center of his life changes and will be a source of grace for America throughout the Eucharistic Revival.
Father John Anthony is a Texan, U.S. Navy veteran & convert to Catholicism. He established the CFR’s apostolate in Nicaragua.
