This is a class for painters who wish to experiment and explore mixing traditional media in their work. It is exciting to add pen and ink and/or pastel to enhance a watercolor painting. Or add watercolor to a pen and ink drawing, or use pastels to heighten a watercolor painting. The options are endless for creative expression!聽
We will start by focusing on watercolor and reviewing composition. You may choose on one or more, or all three of these traditional media in your work. Topics covered include the properties of these materials, color mixing, and drawing from life and/ or photographs. The size of the class allows for plenty of individual attention.
