Living with Black Bears In Connecticut

Bears have been in the news a lot lately. Join us at the deKoven House Community Center on Tuesday, Oct. 24th at 6:30 P.M. for a presentation about “Living with Black Bears.”
Gail Cameron is the current President of the Hamden Land Trust and a Master Wildlife Conservationist with the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. She has participated in a mammal monitoring program with the Pomfret Audubon Center, assisted with CT DEEP’s bobcat study, and loves nothing more than being outside and learning from nature.
Gail will discuss the expanding black bear population in the state and offer advice on how we can co-exist.
