The event will feature leading industry experts, Bridgeport-based artists and poets, and artwork produced by our Urban Scholars students. It will bring the community together around the healing of urban and racial trauma through artistic self-expression. Attendees will hear from Keynote, visionary graphic designer Cey Adams, founding creative director of Def Jam Recordings who will share his journey as an artist. Guests will also enjoy an Artist Gallery and Auction curated by Urban Scholars Instructors, Alicia Cobb and Shanna Melton. LifeBridge Beloved Community Award Recipients include:
