Grammy Winning Banjoist Alison Brown in Concert at The Kate Jan 10

Connecticut-born Alison Brown is one of the most multi-faceted minds in roots music.  She is a GRAMMY-winning banjoist, GRAMMY-nominated producer, former investment banker (with an AB from Harvard and an MBA from UCLA) and co-founder of the Nashville-based Compass Records Group which is celebrating its 28th anniversary in 2023.  Joining her at The Kate will be long time members of her touring Quintet: John Ragusa (flute), Mason Embry (piano), Garry West (bass) and Bryan Brock (drums).
