DK Movement Cares 5K Run

The DK Movement Cares 5K Run aims to bring communities together to encourage people to participate in a physical activity and support a common cause that is meaningful to them. Our first annual 5K Run will take place start and end at the Bridge Community Church in Bristol CT. There will be a Fun Run for kids 8 and under for free prior to start of 5K and Fitness Walkers are welcomed to join!
Overall Male and Female winners:
1st place $150
2nd place $75
3rd place $50
Age Group Winners will receive finishing placed medals.
A portion of the proceeds raised will benefit the Bristol Special Olympics and the Agape House Homeless Outreach.
The Bristol Special Olympics is an accredited local chapter of CT Special Olympics which is a non-profit organization authorized and accredited by Special Olympics International for the benefit of citizens with intellectual disabilities.
The Agape House, Inc. is a Christian nonprofit organization, in Connecticut, uniting the body of Christ to serve the homeless and people in need in the Bristol community through multiple churches and multiple ministries.
Both of these organizations need our help to continue to support the individuals they serve!
