Connecticut Democracy Center Awards

The Connecticut Democracy Center (CTDC) will host the first annual Democracy Awards at Connecticut鈥檚 Old State House on February 1, 2024, to pay tribute to business, community, and philanthropic leaders including The Honorable Alvin W. Thompson, Citizen Travelers, the non-partisan civic engagement initiative of The Travelers Companies, Inc., and Mary Gawlicki, Gawlicki Family Foundation.
The award recognizes those committed to strengthening democracy through acts of citizenship, service, and community engagement. The evening includes an inspirational program, small plates, dessert, a champagne toast and networking with business professionals, educators, and community leaders.
