Black Wall Street Festival

The 3rd annual Black Wall Street Festival is taking place in New Haven, CT this year from August 12th through the 18th! It promises a vibrant celebration of Black culture, entrepreneurship, and community. Come support Black-owned businesses, artists, and creators.
Adriane Jefferson and The Breed Entertainment worked together to kick-off this week-long event with a range of activities, including live performances, panel discussions, and vendor markets showcasing local Black entrepreneurs.
Monday, August 12th: Artist Showcase from 6:00 – 10:00 PM
- Come celebrate creativity and artists in New Haven! This day gives artists a deserved platform to showcase their talents to attendees and industry insiders. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes provided by The Breed Entertainment.
Tuesday, August 13th: Film Fest from 6:00 – 9:00 PM
- Enjoy Steve Driffin’s opening act; the critically acclaimed Death By A Thousand Cuts: A Requiem for Black and Brown Men. Stay to experience the power of storytelling with an evening dedicated to film screenings from Black and Brown filmmakers!
Wednesday, August 14th: The Power in Our Dollar – Investing Summit from 5:00 – 9:00 PM
- Join us at the Power in Our Dollar Investment Summit, where financial experts, business leaders, and community members come together to explore strategies for economic empowerment.
Thursday, August 15th: Worn On Wall Street – Fashion Show from 6:00 – 9:00 PM
- This event is a highlight of the festival, showcasing the latest trends and innovative designs from a talented lineup of Black and Brown designers.
Friday, August 16th: Entrepreneur Party from 7:00 – 11:00 PM
- Celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship at the Entrepreneur Party, curated by Playlist. This exclusive event brings together visionaries, startups, and business professionals for an evening of networking, collaboration, and inspiration.
Saturday, August 17th: BWS FEST from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Experience the vibrant culture and entrepreneurial spirit of our community at the BWS Festival. This event is a showcase of Black-owned businesses, artists, and performers, offering a day filled with live music, art, food, and fun activities for all ages.
Saturday, August 17th: BWS Fest VIP Tent from 3:00 – 8:00 PM
- Elevate your BWS Festival experience with access to the VIP Tent, where day party vibes take center stage. Enjoy exclusive amenities, premium seating, and a more intimate atmosphere while still being at the heart of the festival action.
Saturday, August 17th: BWS Fest After Party from 8 – 11:00 PM
- Keep the energy going at the BWS Festival After Party! After a day of festivities, join us for an evening of dancing, socializing, and celebration. With a live DJ, great music, and a lively atmosphere, the after party is the perfect way to cap off an incredible festival experience.
Sunday, August 18th: BWS Brunch from 12:00 – 6:00 PM
- Relax and indulge at the BWS Sunday Brunch, a delightful culinary experience that brings together community members for a morning of great food and conversation. Enjoy a delicious spread of brunch favorites, from savory dishes to sweet treats, all while connecting with fellow attendees in a warm and welcoming environment.
