ANIMAL: A Listening Gym

Sonic artist Ash Fure is coming to town and bringing an interactive art installation with her, ANIMAL: A Listening Gym. Commissioned by Yale Schwarzman Center, curated by YSC Artist-in-Residence Bryce Dessner, and built in collaboration with stock-a-studio, the project is both an installation and live performances that opens to the public on October 21 and extends through October 28 at Yale Schwarzman Center.
The installation features full-body sonic machines that function like a sensory circuit workout. Visitors can consume themselves in the “listening gym” as well as the visceral sounds of Fure’s ANIMAL performance.
