71st Annual Gem, Jewelry, and Mineral Show

The 71st Annual Gem, Jewelry, and Mineral Show sponsored by the Danbury Mineralogical Society will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9 (10-5) and Sunday, Sept. 10 (10-4)聽at New Milford High School, 388 Danbury Road (Rte 7), New Milford, CT. There will be displays of minerals, fossils, and jewelry, as well as 16 retail vendors, free mineral identification, and food available for purchase (outside). Come enjoy shopping for affordable grab bags, tumbled stones, casual gems, beads, and simple jewelry items; fluorescent minerals; artisan gemstones & jewelry; rare mineral specimens from historic localities; vintage hobby-related books, field tools, and much more. Bring a friend, see old friends & make new ones. Bring your mystery rock(s) to the club table for help with identification.
There will be hourly door prizes throughout the show, and a grand prize drawing at the end. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for Seniors and students with ID. Children under 12 and Scouts in uniform are free. There is plenty of free parking.
