It’s 2023, and the committee is working hard on the 61st edition of The Newtown Labor Day Parade! We can’t wait for the floats, fire trucks, festive music, and more!
Please save the date and join us on September 4th, 2023, for this fun, family-friendly event. And it’s the ONLY Labor Day Parade in the state of CT! Kick-off is at 10:00 a.m. sharp!

The Newtown Labor Day Parade Committee is pleased to have Monsignor Robert E. Weiss as the 2023 Grand Marshal for the 61st Annual Newtown Labor Day Parade.
Monsignor Weiss is the Pastor at St. Rose of Lima Church in Newtown. He has been on his pastoral journey for 50 years, in Newtown, for the past 27 years. He is a pillar of strength to all in our community and beyond.
