HARTFORD, Conn. (June 14, 2016) – Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) was recognized this June for achievement in original programming at The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Boston/New England Chapter Regional Emmy® Awards. The 39th Annual Awards Ceremony took place on Saturday, June 4 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts. CPTV received 18 nominations for the 2015 television season, winning a total of three awards.
“We are grateful for the recognition CPTV received from the Boston/New England chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences this year,” said the Connecticut Public’s President and CEO Jerry Franklin. “We are proud to produce original content that explores local business, industry, and culture found right here in New England. Congratulations to the talented and dedicated people whose work was honored this year.”
