Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) is proud to announce that it received 11 nominations from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Boston/New England Chapter Regional Emmy Awards for the 2014 television season.
“We are all very pleased to be recognized by the Academy, and I am so proud of the many talented people who work here, as well as the people outside our walls who share their talent and expertise with us,” said Jerry Franklin, president and CEO of CPBN.
Connecticut Public Education Department and Hartford Public Schools’ Journalism & Media Academy Magnet School (JMA) received three nominations from NATAS Boston/New England Chapter for the 2015 High School Awards for Excellence.
“We’re so pleased that our model, which features creative autonomy for the students, aided by professional mentoring, was recognized by NATAS.” said Donna Sodipo, CPBN Vice President of Education.
Since 1989, CPTV Original productions and presentations have earned 101 Regional Emmy Awards and 421 Regional Emmy Award nominations. The 38th Boston/New England Emmy Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
