HARTFORD, Conn., June 9, 2016 – Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) will present a series of six free concerts at Infinity Hall in Hartford, Connecticut, starting in July 2016 and continuing through May of 2017. The Infinity Hall Live Free & Easy Concert Series will provide audiences with the opportunity to see live music in an intimate venue at no cost. All performances will be recorded for future airing on CPTV’s nationally televised series Infinity Hall Live.
Passes for each performance will be awarded by random drawing. Prior to each performance, interested attendees can fill out a submission form found at ihlive.org/freeandeasy to enter for the chance to win two free passes to the show. Winners will be notified via e-mail prior to each performance.
“For five seasons, Infinity Hall Live has been a successful showcase for top musical talent on CPTV and national public television,” said Connecticut Public’s President and CEO Jerry Franklin. “We are thrilled to continue with this series, making great music more accessible than ever for the Hartford community.”

The Concert Series begins Thursday, July 21 with a performance by fast-rising New Orleans rock band The Revivalists. The seven-piece ensemble recently released its third full-length album, Men Amongst Mountains, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart. Named one of “10 Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone, audiences are sure to enjoy the band’s dynamic and high-energy live show. The random drawing for free passes to this performance is now open.
