Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) and CPTV Sports are pleased to announce its introduction of a collection of movie classic to its program roster. Continuing in March of 2015, viewers can enjoy an exciting array of noteworthy performances from Natalie Wood’s part in West Side Story and Clark Gable in Gone With the Wind to Cher’s role in Moonstruck and Denzel Washington in Glory. The Movie Classic collection explores the work of legendary actors and actresses through many important films from their careers.
The Movie Classic collection through May will include the following feature presentations:
Julie & Julia – A woman in Queens, N.Y., sets a deadline of one year to prepare all 524 recipes in Julia Child’s famous cookbook, “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.” Starring Amy Adams, Meryl Streep and Chris Messina (2009).
