HARTFORD, Conn. (June 2, 2015) – The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Boston/New England Chapter held the 38thBoston/New England Emmy Awards Ceremony on Saturday, May 30 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, where it announced its award winners for the 2014 television season. Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) is pleased to announce that it received three awards at the ceremony.
The honored CPTV productions include Made in Connecticut, a CPTV Original documentary highlighting local manufacturing and innovation, which won in the “Informational/Instructional” category. Also recognized was the public service announcement series The Stay Safe Singers – Fire Safety and Prevention, which won in the “Community/Public Service Campaign” category. Additionally, the CPTV special Creative Stages won in the “Audio” category, for which Larry Roeming performed field audio recording and audio post production.
