Gabby Douglas, the 27-year-old American Olympic gymnast, author, and entrepreneur best known for her performance at the 2012 London Olympic Games, will speak at Trinity College on March 28, in celebration of Women’s History Month. Just over a decade ago, Douglas become the first Black woman to win the Olympic individual all-around title and the first U.S. gymnast to earn gold in both the individual and team all-around competitions, securing the first two of her three career Olympic gold medals. The event will take place in Washington Room, Mather Hall, and is free and open to the public.
