Greg Abate Quartet returns to The Packing House performance venue for an evening of live jazz music with Greg Abate on sax/flute, Matt DeChamplain on piano, Lou Bocciarelli on bass, and Ben Bilello on drums.

Greg Abate – jazz saxophonist, flutist, and composter continues as an international jazz/recording artist with 225 days a year touring the globe.
In the ’70s, Greg finished graduated Berklee College of Music and began playing alto for the Ray Charles Orchestra. Soon he formed his group Channel One, a favorite of the New England area. Following these experiences Greg ventured out as a post hard bop soloist playing at jazz festivals, societies, and clubs throughout North America and Europe. Greg is also an adjunct professor of Jazz Studies at Rhode Island College and is also a very active jazz clinician conducting workshops and master classes through the U.S and abroad. Greg was inducted into the RI Music Hall of Fame in 2016.
