It’s the perfect time to create a fall painting for your wall or mantel!
All the materials are provided, including a template, canvas, paints, and brushes.
Acrylic is a fun medium that can be used to create a variety of paintings. It dries quickly and colors can be layered, and it provides easy cleanup. We will paint a still life of a grouping of pumpkins and a gourd. Students will use various techniques to form the pumpkin and create highlights and shading. We will add a few leaves and berries and create some fingertip edgings and splattering effects. A painted Wooden Phrase (like “Hello Fall”) can be added to the canvas if desired.
Christine will provide several examples on the board and there will be paper set up for practicing your skills.
